John R. Mann is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and decorated combat veteran with over 26 years of service, honored with awards like the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star. A proud Eagle Scout, John’s life is dedicated to service, leadership, and supporting others through challenges on the battlefield and beyond. Commissioned via ROTC in Montana, John holds a BSN and is a registered nurse with decades of clinical experience. He earned dual master’s degrees in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response, combining leadership with crisis management expertise. John commanded troops in Afghanistan during a 2008–2009 deployment with zero casualties. He also served as Executive Officer for disaster response teams, managed multimillion-dollar healthcare contracts, and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. As an ACLS & BLS instructor for 20+ years, he trained hundreds of medics and nurses. Now a licensed life insurance consultant with Affordable Life Security, John helps veterans, military families, and working Americans secure affordable, reliable coverage with integrity and care.

Jay Evrendilek is a United States Marine Corps Infantry veteran, husband, and dedicated life insurance professional with a passion for helping others—especially those who’ve worn the uniform. After transitioning out of the military, Jay found deep purpose in supporting fellow veterans facing challenges like PTSD by volunteering with veteran-focused organizations that prioritize mental health, healing, and community. His personal journey includes achieving and maintaining sobriety, which has fueled a life of discipline, resilience, and gratitude. In his free time, Jay enjoys lifting weights and diving into video games, both outlets that help keep him balanced and focused. He chose a career in life insurance because he believes in the power of financial protection, and he loves being able to offer affordable, customized solutions that bring families lasting peace of mind.
